Dragon #2: Medieval Tapestry

   This is the second dragon of my series that I am working on. I painted it to look like a tapestry in the Middle Ages. It is an original acrylic painting as well.

I Don't Want Big Brother Watching Me At the Grocery Store

 First of all, I am the firstborn. Nothing can change that. I don't need "Big Brother" to watch me because I'm the big sister. I proudly did not have to experience that horrible event that was watching your older sibling get more privileges than you, because I was that sibling, thank you very much.  The type of "Big Brother" I am talking about here is in reference to 1984's "Big Brother Is Watching You." Performances, Performances.......

I performed three times over the past week. I am a member of the woodwind quintet at my school. The School of Music is hosting Atrium Concerts in the Library, a concert by a certain ensemble every Friday at lunchtime. We performed in the atrium of our library on Friday. We performed a piece by a composer named Paul Hindemith called "Kleine Kammermusik fur funf blaser" or in English, "A Little Chamber Music for Five Wind Players." The piece sounded very dark and haunting , which is why this piece was my favorite. Paul Hindemith wrote a lot of modern music, and lived during the early twentieth century.  Next, we performed a piece by a composer named Franz Danzi from the classical period called simply "Quintet."
