More Songs

The Quiet Girl- Alone River    This song is another instrumental composition for the hammered dulcimer.                              And Don't Forget (Solo Clarinet Version)         This is a song my friend and I wrote together. It is a duet for the piano and the clarinet. He made and posted a solo piano version, so I decided to make and post the solo clarinet version.           The Quiet Girl- The Rhythm of the Hammering on the Carpet           This is the song that I wrote based on the "rhythms" I heard when I heard the carpet people working. I described this in an earlier entry, "The Rhythm of Carpet Work." This was done on my songwriting software, Musescore. The instruments used on the software are the woodblock, the iron pipe, and the cuica.    © 2013, The Quiet Girl. All rights reserved. Unauthorized copying is punishable under Federal Law.

Here is a close up of the dragon and its head and face.         Homemade Recording Studio Pop Filter    Recently I got two books from the library about studio recording. I want to learn as much as I can about it. The books are Home Recording for Musicians for Dummies by Jeff Strong and Home Recording Power by Ben Milstead. The first day I read Home Recording for Musicians for Dummies , I already learned something and put it into practice. I learned that you can make a pop filter from a simple coat hanger and pantyhose.    A pop filter is used in front of mics to eliminate popping sounds and bumps so they do not get into
